Hydrogen deuteride is a diatomic molecule composed of the two isotopes of hydrogen: the majority isotope 1H protium and 2H deuterium. Its molecular formula is HD. Hydrogen deuteride is a minor component of naturally occurring molecular hydrogen.

Reacts violently and/or explosively with water, steam or moisture. Dangerous when wet. May ignite or explode on contact with moist air. Causes eye and skin irritation.
Application of a cross magnetic field (as shown in Fig. 1c) prevented the film from getting fogged.
Check for and remove any contact lenses. Immediately flush eyes with running water for at least 15 minutes,keeping eyelids open. Cold water may be used. Do not use an eye ointment. Seek medical attention.
