Quinidine is a pharmaceutical agent that acts as a class i antiarrhythmic agent (ia) in the heart. It is a stereoisomer of quinine, originally derived from the bark of the cinchona tree.

Quinine is a natural white crystalline alkaloid having antipyretic (fever-reducing), antimalarial, analgesic (painkilling), and anti-inflammatory properties and a bitter taste. It is a stereoisomer of quinidine.

Salbutamol (INN) or albuterol (USAN) is a short-acting β2-adrenergic receptor agonist used for the relief of bronchospasm in conditions such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. It is marketed by GlaxoSmithKline as Ventolin, Aerolin or Ventorlin depending on the market; by Cipla as Asthalin; by Schering-Plough as Proventil.

Silver sulfate (Ag2SO4) is an ionic compound used in silver plating and as a non-staining substitute to silver nitrate. It is stable under ordinary conditions of use and storage, though it darkens upon exposure to air or light. It is minimally soluble in water.

Sodium aluminium sulfate, NaAl(SO4)2·12H2O or Na2SO4·Al2(SO4)3·24H2O, also known as soda alum or sodium alum, is a form of alum used in the acidity regulator of food (E521) as well as in the manufacture of baking powder. It is also a common mordant for the preparation of hematoxylin solutions for staining cell nuclei in histopathology.

Sodium laureth sulfate, or sodium lauryl ether sulfate (SLES), is a detergent and surfactant found in many personal care products (soaps, shampoos, toothpaste etc.). It is an inexpensive and very effective foaming agent made by mixing sulfuric acid, monododecyl ester, and sodium salt.[1]

Sodium persulfate (Na2S2O8) is a chemical compound. It is a strong oxidizer. It is a severe irritant of skin, eyes, and respiratory system. It is almost non-hygroscopic and has particularly good ability to be stored for long time. It is easy and safe to handle. It is not combustible, but releases oxygen easily and assists combustion of other materials.

Sodium picosulfate is a contact laxative used as a treatment for constipation or to prepare the large bowel before colonoscopy or surgery. It is sold under the trade names Dulcolax, Laxoberal, Picolax, Picoprep,[1] Guttalax and several others.
